Who We Are
Both born and bred in different parts of country Victoria and then a chance meeting on a sail boat in Croatia that lead them on the ultimate adventure of starting a life and a family together.
Alex spent most of her childhood years in the Goulburn Valley region whilst Carson grew up in Beechworth in the beautiful North East which is now where they call home.
Alex & Carson set their sites on an old historic 1850’s apartment in the Main Street of Beechworth.
They quickly started works on the building to give it a much needed makeover and after 10 weeks, decided to share the charming apartment with the comers and goers of Beechworth as a short stay experience.
In doing this, Stay Nation (also referred to as their 4th child) was born.
The couple fell in love with the short term stay space, providing people with memorable stays and showcasing their beloved Beechworth that they decided to make it into a business and thus, their vision came to life
